Ladies and Gentlemen Sarah W was involved in a auto-mobile accident. She was Life Flighted to UC Davis where she is in good hands with God and Doctors. She arrived at the hospital in very critical condition and had a collapsed lung, broken pelvic bone, internal bleeding and brain trauma. She was rushed to the OR and was operated on quickly and by instinct of the doctors. They were able to fix the problems from the neck to the waist, they did not bother to look for broken bones at the time but to focus on the critical injuries. The injury to her head has caused brain swelling which is like an internal bruise. The brain pressure has gone up to about 30 and gone down to 0-4, 0-4 is normal brain pressure which is good. 20-30 is not good for the brain but when it does go up the doctors can and do things to stop the pressure. She is in the ICU where she has constant watch by the doctors and nurses, where she is staying is the best trauma center in the state. The doctors are very optimistic about her pulling through which is very good, I ask that you pray for Sarah and that you watch for the updates on the page. If times do get bad then please just pray for her recovery. Even if times are good then just thank the Lord for what he is doing and ask him to keep her in good condition and that he pull her through this.
She is getting better but it is slowly but surely, she is making small steps but all are good signs. We do not know how bad the brain injuries are and we have to wait until she wakes up and is tested. I will keep you updated on all reports, I will be able to update a lot now because I will have some more free time. Sarah is making small movements like moving her feet or squeezing peoples hands, however we do not know yet if they are voluntary or involuntary. I will keep you well updated on that. Please pray that Sarah wakes up and has a great recovery and that she doesn't have any major problems. Thank you very much for visiting the site and praying for Sarah.
It is now two weeks since the accident and Sarah has been transferred to another hospital. She is still in ICU and visitors are being limited. This is good as she needs all the rest she can right now. She has a wonderful room, and the nurses are very nice. We would like to thank Kerry at Mercy hospital for the great care she gave us while she was our nurse :) We would also like to thank all the staff at UC Davis for how kind they were while we stayed there, we will come back and visit you soon . We miss you! Sarah is still not awake or responding to commands but given the injuries she sustained it is still early to expect more at this time. We are praying that the Lord will heal her and restore her fully. We know He loves Sarah more than all of us combined and that is an incredible thought. Sarah has committed her life to serving Jesus and we are trusting that His plans for her are good~~plans to prosper and not to harm, plans for hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
My meaning was leaning
11/23/00
2 years ago, my meaning was leaning, I had never faced a hard trial, this last year, I came to know what it's all about. It's a holiday special message from me =) Today is thanksgiving, and I finally have something that I can truly be thankful. Some of us, have never felt the fire of a trial. But many of us, have seen the fire of a trial. Because last year at this time, my family was not eating a good Thanksgiving dinner, Cafeteria mash potatoes, are definitely not the same as home made mash potatoes. We were in a rehabillitation room, thanking for the miracle that had been already been done. We did not know though, that the healing of God would continue. Now this Thanksgiving, I am thankful that I can be thankful, knowing that I still have all of family, a whole that loves each other. I am thankful that we are home, not in a crowded hospital room. I'm thankful, for the men and women, who died so we could be here. Lastly, I'm thankful for our mercyful God, who brought us all here today, some in soul, some physically. I wish you all, A safe, true, and good thanksgiving. I'll see you again at Christmas time =)
God Bless, Good Bye

Ain't it a wonderful world?

I just looked at the pictures taken by my uncle of the aftermath of my accident and I am truly amazed. My reaction is "God, why my life?" I know He has big plans for my life. I wonder what they are. I know He wants me to marry a pastor and maybe He had me go through that experience to help others. Already I have been able to help counsel a family friend and who knows what else? God only knows my future. Thank you all for praying for me. God really does miracle's and "where would I be if there never were a Calvary, where would I be? If His grace had never reached to me? For my life is not the same, it was love that made the change, His love calls to you, His love calls to me, His grace can make the wildest sinner free. The call of love." That is my favorite song, sang on a choir tour, 1/8, I can't keep track of which one, it have been so much and so much fun!
